Hydroseeding is a planting process that uses a slurry of seed and mulch. If planting a relatively large area, hydroseeding can be completed in a very short period of time. It can be very effective for hillsides and sloping lawns to help with erosion control and quick planting. Hydroseeding will typically cost less than planting with sod, but more than broadcast seeding. Results are often quick with high germination rates producing grass growth in about a week and mowing maintenance beginning around 3–4 weeks from the date of application. Fiber mulch accelerates the growing process by maintaining moisture around the seeds thereby increasing the rate of germination.
Interlocking is a type of paver. This special type of paver, also known as a segmental paver, has emerged over the last couple of decades as a very popular alternative to brick, clay or concrete. Interlock driveways are a better alternative to asphalt and concrete because they will not crack or need to be re-sealed. In the end it will save you money.
Irrigation is the artificial application of water to the land or soil. It is used to assist in the growing of agricultural crops, maintenance of landscapes, and revegetation of disturbed soils in dry areas and during periods of inadequate rainfall. All homeowners should know how important it is to keep their lawns and landscapes healthy, watered and green. Without regular watering, our plants and grass will not survive. Automatic sprinkler and irrigation systems are a great way to consistently maintain your property. An automatic irrigation system can save time, money and water.
